Workshops - Feldenkrais Method
Feldenkrais workshops can be tailor-made for the group’ s particular interests or concerns, such as horseback riding, tennis, gardening, or address general issues of pain or stiffness. Several people who use the Tellington TTouch Method enjoy workshops which help them understand part of why the TTouch work is so powerful and profound.

Workshops may also be more general, such as “Taking it Easy”:
Many of us have a rather odd tendency to move or carry ourselves in ways that are not as comfortable as they might be, and sometimes even cause us pain. In this workshop participants learn how to identify which of their postures and movements are easy for/on them, and which cause distress. It’s a process that involves listening to those whispers within ourselves which are saying “ow!” or “aaah”. When we know how to interpret what we feel and observe, we are able to make choices about what we do. Sometimes very small changes can make a very big difference!
Workshops include several Awareness Through Movement lessons, and include time for discussion and attention to particular concerns if desired. Much of the time participants will be lying on the floor and so should wear comfortable clothing. They may be asked to bring something to lie on and whatever pillows or bolsters may make them more comfortable.
Please contact me if you are interested in hosting a workshop.
